My sick Madeline

For those of you who know Madeline, you know that she is always on the go and active. Well, if you could see her now, it would bring you to tears. Last night she woke up to go potty and then climbed in bed with us. She felt extremely warm to me, so we took her temp and it was 101.8. Gave her tylenol and she slept the night. Then this morning, no fever and she was jumping and playing with Lauren. She fell asleep and when she woke up, she was burning up. So I took her temp again and this time it was 103.5! I just about freaked out! Because we just moved, we don't have a peditrician and because we are in a new job, our insurance hasn't kicked in yet. So.....I took her to the closest quick care I could find. Well, you know what they told me? Nothing. That Madeline has nothing but a "viral cold." Nice. So she has laid on the couch and slept all day. I feel awful for her. I hope she feels better tomorrow...
