Cosmotology School
The other day, Madeline decided that she was going to pretend that she was a "hair cutter." So while I was taking care of the baby I watch, she was off doing, well, you know. She came into the family room, turned around and said, "Do you notice anything different about my hair, mom?" (as if she had done nothing wrong!!) I just about lost it! She had taken the scissors, and cut the two ponies that were holding her hair back that day. We had JUST talked about NOT cutting our hair with scissors the day before too. She told me she "just wanted to look beautiful like Chloe at school." I already had an appointment for her to get her hair cut the next day, so luckily, that was in order. I was so upset that I forgot to take pictures of the "damage," but in the end it all turned out ok because I really love her new haircut! I may not have gone this short with it had she not started the process herself. So as mad as I was, it turned out to be a good thing!

That is something about boys that is great, you can just buzz their hair. I am so sorry! I would have died too! I am glad that it all worked out. She looks way cute.
Oh my gosh!! I can't even imagine what you were thinking when she showed you her hair. I think I would have flipped out. That hasn't happened in our house yet, but with two little girls I'm sure it will one day. At least she didn't cut it super duper short, that would have sucked!! :)
Ooh, I about had a heart attack just reading about it! It did turn out way cute. Be happy she can at least grow hair, Ry has the same haircut, but because that's all the hair she has!
I love short haircuts. Sydni's in a phase where she wants it long and I wish she'd let me chop it.
That is really funny. That is the one thing Ayden hasn't done yet, YET being the key word. I am just waiting. The hair cut is really cute though!
I heard about this post- Maddie is the talk of the town! Ok- hopefully this is the last time.... Savannah has cut her hair twice now! I fret everytime she is near scissors!! (i guess the first time CJ and his cousin did it to her-but she asked them to...) the second time it was her! Dreadful!
