This year our ward decided to forego the "trunk or treat" and do a "Harvest Festival" at one of the members homes. They live on a farm and we were going to have hayrides, and games, and a chili-cook off with all the fun stuff. Well, it rained all day long, so they moved it to the church. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a trunk or treat because I think it's safe and fun for the kids, but the ward party was fun anyway. Madeline was brave and tried all the fun activites. She did really well at all of them. Lauren enjoyed eating candy for dinner and scooted a chair over to each of the tables that had candy to offer. (Which was all of them) It was a great night for my child that could live on candy if she had to!
