OK, so I've been tagged before and tried to avoid the whole thing, but now I've been tagged again. So I guess if I don't tell you 6 crazy things about me, then I'll probably be tagged again before it's over. So anyhow, here goes:
1. I HATE to spend money. I love to have it, but HATE to spend it. I would rather have it sit in my pocket and burn a hole than have to spend it on anything. I'm cheap as can be. $10 is expensive to me when it comes to buying something. Funny thing is, I really like the "finer" things in life...
2. I LOVE to coupon shop. Because I don't like spending the money, I find lots of different ways to save it, since spending really is inevitable. I cut coupons every Sunday and save them in my little book. I even cut things that I don't normally use because you never know when something will be on sale. My big buy was getting 6 tubes of toothpaste for $.33 at Walgreens! GO ME! And I price match at Wal-Mart which drive Matt crazy. He goes to the car when it's time to check out. I just remind him that I've saving us money.
3. I love sports and playing them. Basketball is my favorite. I'm not really big into watching them on TV, but I love to get out there and play hard. I used to coach, but I don't anymore.
4. I teach preschool out of my home. It's really fun and rewarding to see the kids learn. Once upon a time, I taught HS PE. I'm finding that Preschoolers are probably more mature than my HS girls were. It's pretty sad.
5. I LOVE LOVE LOVE having girls. I was a tom-boy when I was growing up and swore that I would NEVER put my little girls in pink, flowers or ruffles. When Madeline was born, I even wanted to request that no pink be allowed at my baby shower. And if I had little girls, they would have short hair so I didn't have to do it. Well, now I have 2 little girls, and they wear pink everyday and their hair is always done into something cute. Having girls has even caused ME to have some pink in my wardrobe. Not much, but some.
6. I was born in San Juan, PR, but raised in Granby, CT. I don't look like I'm from Puerto Rico, so when people hear that, they think I am kidding. Well, I'm not. I love being from the east coast and as much as I love living in Boise, ID, someday I hope to get back to the east. There's just something about it that I love.

I really put off the tagging thing for a while, but it ended up being fun to get to know new things about each other. I totally do the price matching thing too, just last night. Kevin doesn't mind me doing it but he wont do it.
Bethany tried to tag me once, and I avoided her (sorry Bethany) but I figured that I would give it a go. It wasn't easy coming up with 6 things about me because 1) I'm just boring and 2) I don't have any special talents. So I did the best I could!

I love that you coupon shop I need to be better at it. I will get the coupons and have them set aside to use and I always forget to take them to the store.
