HERE'S TO A GREAT 2008!!
Happy New Year! This NYE, we spent it as a family. We went out to dinner at the Cracker Barrel Pub and then came home and celebrated our own little party. Daddy had gotten some streamers, hats, blow horns, and poppers as well as some yummy Martinelli's sparkling cider. It's ok that we celebrated the new year at 8pm, right? Then we put Lauren to bed and sat down to watch TV. Madeline and I fell asleep on the couch at 10:30pm (not unusual) and Matt woke us up at 11:58pm to ring in 2008! Outside in our neighborhood, people were setting off fireworks, screaming shouting, and cheering, so what did we do? We joined in the fun. Matt and Maddie went outside and let off the last of our poppers! It was a lot of fun and since Madeline loves to party and celebrate, it was especially fun for us to watch her excitement. Here's to a GREAT 2008!!

Brandon hates how lame I am on New Years Eve. I have always been an early bird and especially this year being preggo I was in bed practically before the kids. I'm really going to try to organize fun for next go round. BTW I'm starting a BLURB/booksmart thing. Which is basically my blog put into a book. You might consider starting it now if your interested so you can build it up slowly instead of me trying to cut paste edit two years at once.
I've heard about that. You can order it on line or something, right? I should order from last year. I need to look into it! Thanks!
Jilene- Hey, so fun to see your website! I went to check out Jenni T's website you were linked on her website! Awesome! So, I just set up a blog, I am a total newbie, have no idea what I am doing, but it looks like fun!
How fun. It is fun to start these traditions and celebrations with our own families. I laughed at quite a few pictures, but I especially liked the one about Madeline knowing how to hold the glass from the Incredibles.
Love the pictures. Looks like such a fun time with family. Jilene, you look great. I sure miss running into you at the store!

Hey Jilene- We played some games and tried to stay awake till midnight too! Next year we will have to get together for sure and have a bottle of bubbly together :)
you'll have to get your own bottle! Madeline drinks one on her own! just kidding, but she's requesting to get more at the store!

Hey Jilene...looks like you had a lot of fun! My night was boring, Brent was working...and I went to bed...but I did wake up at midnight when some fireworks went off...
You had 3 months of accidents at night? I just ended up putting Emma in pull ups when she slept because she always goes at naps and at night. It would save on diapers, that is for sure, 3 using them soon to be 4.
