An Earthquake in Idaho?

Well, maybe just the aftershocks, but still, it was cool...So yesterday morning, at about 7:15am I'm laying in bed and I feel my bed shake. It wasn't like anyone had rolled over, it was really shaking. Then my blinds start rattling. So I'm laying there thinking to myself, "there is NO WAY that we just had an earthquake, but it sure felt like one." I wondered if my blinds were shaking because the heat had kicked on, but that had never happened before, so I didn't think that could be it. Anyhow, it was really wierd. I didn't mention anything to Matt because in my mind I was thinking that there was just no way that's what it could have been. I let it go and went back to sleep. When I woke up, I turned to TV on to see what the weather was going to be and sure enough, there was breaking news that there had been an earthquake in Wells, NV and we felt it here in Boise, ID. I knew I wasn't just crazy!!! Not that I would ever want to be in a "real" earthquake, but what I did feel was pretty cool.

Jilene- Same thing with me. My kids pointed out the light was moving, I starred at it and thought it was moving for sure, but that it must be from the heat or something. Then after it all, I looked at it again and it was not moving at all. Weird. I can't believe it was enough to shake your bed! Yikes!

It is so crazy to experience little after shocks. It would be scary to have a big one. Once as a teenager I woke up (I had a water bed at the time) and My dad was there and I thought he was jiggling the bed. He wanted to see if everyone felt it. It is crazy it can travel that far.

Wow that is crazy! I'm glad it wasn't big enough to do damage to your house!

Hi Jilene,
It's Annette...remember me? I enjoy reading your blog so much! Your little family is darling. I really enjoyed the skiing video of Madeline. It reminds me of the time Monty tried to teach me, only he wasn't as patient as Matt!! I didn't know you were in Boise...we go to Rigby to visit, but I guess that is a diffferent direction! Do you ever visit Cedar? Love ya, Annette

It was just one of those nights when everything was bothering me and I was emotional. The boxing was my cure though, I felt much better afterwards. 2 More months to go seems like a while but I guess I should enjoy the extra sleep for now.

I always wondered that with Abby because she always measured big too. We were tracking with Connor so my due date was really supposed to be May 8th but they went with the ultrasound date of May 6th.
