And Baby Makes 3...

Yes, it's official. We are having baby #3. I have been holding off on this post for obvious reasons, but we are really excited for this addition. I am due October 8th or forever away! So far, so good. I am acutally really lucky to have this picture as we had a terrible scare on Sunday night. I woke up in the middle of the night with severe cramping. It lasted for about 1 1/2 hours and I finally called my doctor. It was so severe I could barely breathe. My doc told me it sounded like I was going to have a miscarriage, that the baby had probably died a month ago and it was just taking the time for my body to react. He told me to "let nature take it's course" because there was nothing I could do about it. Even though there was no bleeding, he said the cramping would come first, and the bleeding would come later. So..Matt and I went back to bed (sort of) and prepared ourselves for the worst at the appointment in the morning. We went to the appt, got all hooked up and saw a perfect little baby with a HB of 160 beats/minute. We even saw it moving it's little arms all over the place. What a relief! I felt very blessed at that moment. Oh, the cause of the cramping? Doc told me to go buy an enema! How embarassing!! :-)

So yes, Sarah B., I do have something to tell you!

YAHOO! Awesome Jilene congrats! I hope I didn't "out" you...I figured you could BS something else if you didn't want to say anything yet. :) That is super fun. I am glad everything is ok- now is the scary part, I always get worried through the 9 months, but it is still fun. :)

You get Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Purple Jello. You make it as you normally would (I got the half size boxes) and then you pour just a little bit into clear cups, starting with the red. You have to let each layer set before adding the next layer, but since the layers are thin, it doesn't take too long.

We use Luvs diapers. They have a middle insert so there is a gap on all sides that shows where it is mainly absorbed. You can also see on the outside of the diapers that hers is darker than the other kids. It is almost like a black tint to it, it isn't like stronger yellow or anything, it looks bad. Then today she had dark streaks on the insert of the diaper. It is hard to describe because it is just not normal and I wouldn't have believed it could get like that.

Congratulations! Yay, another person that will be prego through the summer with me. Lucky you, you don't have to put up with Las Vegas heat this time! Glad to hear everything is going well.
