Picking Flowers

We have some beautiful daffodils that have bloomed in front of our house. Madeline wanted to pick a flower to wear in her hair for church. She looked so beautiful. It was big, and she wasn't too sure at first, but then she didn't want to take it out. What she doesn't understand yet, is that once they are picked, the flowers will die. She doesn't like that her flowers don't stay alive forever.
