Potty Success!

I hope I'm not tooting my own horn or jinxing myself by writing this post, but we have had potty success. I have been wanting to train Lauren for a while now and have known that she is "ready" but with teaching preschool, and vacations, I just didn't think it was the right time. So last week when we got home from WA, I put her in panties and away we went. She has done great! She has had 3 accidents since last Thursday and they were all on Monday! Now she always tells me when she has to go (#1 and #2) and stays dry through her naps and at night. She still wears a diaper at night, but has been dry the last couple of nights. We are thrilled and so excited for her. She kept saying, "Potty train me mommy." She prefers panties over diapers and doesn't even want a swim diaper on anymore when we go swimming. Which I'm ok with because she's done so well telling me that she has to go. Now my biggest challenge is the girls fighting over who is going to go potty first. "Me first!" "No, me first!" "No, me first!" It's a battle. Never thought that would be the toughest part. For those wondering how I did it, I don't know. She was so easy and I guess was just ready (she's 27 months). Almost too easy, so like I said, I hope this doesn't backfire on me, but she has just done so well! She is so little though, that her clothes barely fit her with her diaper on. Remove the diaper and her tushy disappears. It's too cute! We are so proud of our BIG GIRL!!!!

YAY Lauren!!! That is awesome! Cole has decided he wants to go on the potty all the time, it is crazy because we practically had to make the older two potty train. So WOOHOO for easy potty training!!

Congrats!!! I hate potty training! But if they went as smoothly as that for me then it wouldn't be so bad!!! Good luck and I hope she keeps it up.

Yay, I can read your blog now! That is so awesome that she is already potty trained. My boys took forever! Hopefully your boy will tend to follow his sisters!
