Sleepy Heads

It's 6:22pm, do you know what your kids are doing? I do. This is what happens to two little girls that refuse to take naps/quiet time and swim multiple times a day. Madeline hasn't napped for a couple of years now, but Lauren has decided that since she can climb out of her crib and unlock the lock we put on the back of her door, that she too is no longer going to take naps. This isn't flying too smoothly with the mommy. GRRRRR!!! I need Lauren to still take naps, especially with a new baby on the way. So, when you are putting your little ones to bed tonight, think of me and how mine will still be awake at 11:00pm! Gotta love it!

We had to turn the handles around and lock them in to get them to stay in their rooms (in the morning for us). Emma would find clips and get the lock open, so we had to get creative and put paper in between the hole in those plastic locks you have to squeeze down on. It is like a double lock, but give her time and she will crack through that too.

I am not looking forward to when Bailey thinks she doesn't need her naps anymore. That's my time to get all my things done around the house. I hope that won't be for awhile.

That is the worst when they decide they no longer need naps! My kids were never big nappers, but I know some people who have 5 year olds that still take a big long nap! Not fair!

Those pix are cute...nothing like sleeping kiddies! ALthough, I know what you mean when they fall asleep at 6:00! So, I didn't know we could do colors and bold and all that jazz with our postings, I remember trying when I first signed on to blog, but didn't realize that other people were doing it, so thanks for the tip!

That is soo funny! I love that she thinks she is too big for naps. Jake thinks that same thing, so I am just glad he hasn't figured out how to get out of his crib yet. :)
