Laurens 1st Dance Recital

Yes, our sweet little Lauren just finished her first "season" of dance. She enjoyed going most weeks, and was super excited for her recital. Grandma and Grandpa Ray came up from Las Vegas to witness this exciting event. I wasn't sure how she would react when she got up on stage. She kept telling me she was going to dance, but every time we would ask her to show us her dance, she never would. Hence, it was a big surprise to us all.

It was pretty funny, kinda cute and a little frustrating to watch your daughter sit in the teachers lap through the dance. *Funny story* When the girls were being brought out onto the stage to get in their places, you could see all the little feets under the curtain. I could see one little pair of feet not wanting to stand up. I thought to myself, "Oh no, someones daughter doesn't want to dance." Yep, you guessed it, it was MY daughter! Yeah, a little embarrassing!

Regardless, she was a darling little dancer, even if she didn't dance. We love our Lou no matter what!!!
This was Lauren in her 2nd dance. At least she stood on the stage this time, but she didn't move...not even an inch!

Really, what it all comes down to, is getting her purple flowers and as soon as she got those, she was happy!

It was a good experience that I think we will hold off on for a little while longer!!!
