Today we took Laurens preschool kids on a field trip to LOUIE'S pizza restaurant. Lou (the son of the owner) showed the kids the big kitchen, the fridge/freezer, how they make the pizza dough and then let the kids make their own pizzas. It was quite interesting and I think I enjoyed it more than the kids did. It's always interesting to learn the "ins and outs" of how a restaurant is run, although I don't think a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds care. :-) Their pizzas turned out really well, and boy were they yummy!
