We took another preschool fieldtrip, this time to the Boise Zoo. It was a really cold day, but the kids were troopers and had a good time. I just didn't think that on April 29th, I would be digging out the hats, gloves and winter coats. But we were sure glad we had them!
Again, Lauren wasn't too into having her picture taken, so there's more of Mitchell than there is of her, but she is documented, so we know she was with us!
She definitely has a mind of her own!
The kids checking out the baby leopards
Lauren on the jeep
I knew Mitch would want to get out and walk, so we brought along our trusty harness, so he was within arms length. Lauren insisted on dragging him along.
The penguins were swimming all over the place. This one looks like he was going straight for Mitchell.
He looks like a deer in headlights! Notice the penguin behind him
The call these "flying foxes." Not sure how I feel about a fox being able to fly. The zoo is a good, safe place for them.
The ever so fun giraffe slide
Mitch was fearless.
Lauren and her best friend Autumn. Seriously, Lauren can not get enough of this girl..and she's so darling!
Mitch wasn't too sure about the plastic komodo dragon. It is a little creepy!
I'm not big on zoo's because I feel like the animals are never out and because it was cold, I was super worried. We were able to get to see quite a few animals, which made our fieldtrip so much more fun!
