Last night Lauren started complaining that her hand hurt. It looked a little red and swollen, but we figured it was a spider bite of some sort. Today, when she woke up, it was sorse. You could see the point of the bite and it was really swollen and red at this point. We went to church and throughout the meeting, she complained that it was itchy and hurting. I asked around, and was told to just watch it throughout the day
and if it didn't get worse not to worry about it. About 6pm, she was still complaining and it was getting more swollen, so we decided it would be best to get it checked out. I found a quickcare that was open past 6pm and got it checked out. I was told that it was a reaction to a mosquito bite. $35 for a mosquito bite? I was furious. She was prescribed an antibiotic, but I never filled it because I wanted to see if it would go down on it's own. And a few days later, it did. Thank the heavens. I guess she is just allergic to bug bites.

Does that look like a mosquito bite to you?
