Momma had to wake her family up at
8:30AM, yes, you heard me 8:30AM on Christmas morning. I probably could have let them sleep in a little longer, but a momma can only wait so long! So I went and woke up my sleepy family. Once the girls realized what day it was, they were up and ready to go. I tried my best to keep them in my room until the video was set up, but sneaky little Lauren took a peek. Boy, was she excited! That in turn excited Madeline and they were no longer waiting for any video camera, or pictures of any sort. He, he.. It was a fun morning. Mitchell on the other hand, could have cared less! It was a magical morning...there's nothing better than seeing your kids understand the magic of santa and christmas.
Christmas Morning after Santa came
Madeline and her vanity..since when does a 6 year old need a vanity???
Oh, how she was SOOO happy!
Good Morning Brian and Kristy!
These are the gifts I made for the girls. They are boards to hang their drawings on.
Puzzles the girls had take with Hannah Montana and Dora...thanks Grammie and Grampa Logie
Madeline was able to do chores around the house to earn money to go shopping at school. She earned $10, so she bought me a ring and necklace, Dad a pen that says "Dad," and Lauren a crayon pen. Maddie was so excited about her purchases, and makes sure that I wear my ring everyday! She is such a thoughtful girl!
Mitchell playing with his new firetruck
Lauren on her new princess bike! Finally she can keep up with big sis!
The Rivals. BYU vs UofU. Who do you think Rachel will like better?
Mitch figured out his 4 wheeler and was adorable to watch drive all over the floor!
Kristy and Lauren taking a Christmas afternoon snooze!
Kristy served a mission in England, so they brought an English tradition that we did over dinner. You "pop" the toys open and there is a prize inside. It was a fun way to end a fun evening.
