Madeline turns 7!

This year Maddie informed us that she would be getting breakfast in bed.

Because of the busy day ahead of us, Matt and I got up super early to complete Maddie's wish.

She requested Apple cinnamon pancakes with apple syrup and bacon.

We served her in bed along with Lauren.

Neither of them ate much breakfast. :-)

I think it was just fun to eat in bed.

This year Madeline didn't have a "friend" party.

We decided that she could have a party every other year, so this year she was able to pick one friend to spend the day with.

She chose her friend Natalie.

We started at the Library where they made a "hawaiian craft."

Then we went to "Sassy Nails" where the girls had their toe nails painted.

They thought they were in heaven.

I think Lauren was the most excited about this part.

Then we came home to open presents

and TWINKLE TOES!!! The light up, and boy are they bright!

Then we had ice cream cake from Dairy Queen.

Because we didn't want a ton of cake left over, we invited the neighbor kids to come over for some cake.

And last but not least, we took the girls to Roaring Springs water park.

We usually go once a year, so this was our one time.

We had a blast, but didn't take our camera into the park, so the pictures stop here!
