If you remember my post about seeing the Wizard of Oz, we decided to take the kids to see High School Musical 2 at the same outdoor theatre.
The tickets we had were for the night we were coming home from McCall, so we decided to surprise the kids and not tell them where we were going.
We knew we needed to get out of McCall in order to get to the show in time, so we were booking it out of there.
The kids were so excited to see the show.
What I love about these shows is that they are so laid back and fun to be a part of.
During intermission, all the actors/actresses come out into the audience and take pictures with the kids. Apparently my kids are super comfortable with these people because they took pictures with everyone and Mitchell and Maddie even went on stage to play basketball with Troy.

Madeline wanted to play basketball with Troy.
He invited her to go up on the stage and play with him.
I thought she would be nervous, but she was a champ.
Mitchell was not going to be left out.
He made his way to the stage too.

It's always fun to surprise the kids.
