Goodbye Tanners

Madeline has the most amazing primary teachers for a little while.

Doug and Kerri Tanner were in our ward for a year and only her teachers for a few months, but they made a great impression on these kids and we will miss them terribly.

They decided they needed to move back to Utah, exactly where they came from.

I got to thinking one night that we needed to do something fun for the Tanners, so I decided to have a spur of the moment going away pool party.

I called my friend Mary Thompson, and we quickly planned this party. 

While I was at the store buying ice cream, I decided it would be fun to make them a candy gram.

I was right, it was fun.
