Another fantastic month come and gone.
February is not my favorite month, and I'm always glad to see it go.
Usually I'm happy that it's a short month, and there are only 28 days, but this year was leap year, so we had an extra day.
Don't ask me why I don't like it, I just don't.
Never have.
Never have.
Probably why the same reason October is my favorite month.
It just is.
So here are the happening of my least favorite month.
So here are the happening of my least favorite month.
At least the things that happened during the month were some of my favorite!
I mean, who can resist your kids taking out the trash?
and cleaning out the fridge
playing "store" in the pantry and getting it cleaned out in the meantime
a daddy daughter line dancing activity days.
skipping school to go skiing
enjoying the slopes!
this little girl was in skiing heaven!
and so was this dad!
it was super foggy. couldn't see too far in front of themselves
but she didn't care
i was a scared momma when i saw that she rode the lift by herself!
fun times for this daddy and daughter
we had some nice days to jump on the trampoline. Mitchy LOVES being thrown in the air. look at the height he gets!
we celebrated valentines day, papa murphy style. valentines day is one of the reasons I don't like february. i think it's too commercialized and just another way to spend money.
so this year i went cheap and bought a heart shaped pizza.
the kids loved it and that's all that matters
i don't buy gifts for this holiday, but daddy did get his girls a little treat. a pedicure for momma and his girls!
and Mitchy, a gift card to Wahooz. So what if it was regifted from Christmas. He doesn't know that!
we threw a going away party for our friends, the Pikulas. They are moving to Wyoming. I'm so happy for them, but so sad for me.
YUM 2 the YUM!
even yummier, minus the bananas!
Halle and Kati Pikula with our 4 kiddos. We love these girls
Heidi and Colleen Paternoster
Heidi, me, Ashlie. Lots of people ask if Ashlie and I are sisters. No, we are not, but I love her to death, so I'll claim her! These ladies are so amazing. Couldn't ask for better friends!
we made a special treat for grandparents. they are in the mail, so I won't say anything more about that.
we experienced our first oreo. i wonder if it tastes better when mixed with snot. poor girl
i believe she thought it was yummy.
lexa experienced her first cold, ear infections and sinus infections. this resulted in her first doses of antibiotics. so grateful for medicine. she felt better within 2 doses of medication.
she also mastered her favorite trick. sick and all.
oh, and I lost 5 lbs, and 2.5 inches off my waist with my new 90 day health challenge through Body By Vi. I am loving how I am feeling and can't wait for the next 60 days! Thank You Visalus!
I have a long way to go, but I'm getting there! Stay tuned for more loss!
This particular morning, I was upstairs watching a memorial for Steve Jobs who was the CEO of Micron. He just lost his life in a plane crash and they were doing a memorial to his life. I was tearing up thinking about his wife and children and how they were going to have to live their lives without their dad. I was thinking about how lucky and grateful I am to have my sweet children and be their mom and that I know I take them for granted far too often.
Then I came downstairs to this:
yeah. butter everywhere. Even Thomas the train got a bath.
Good thing I had just convinced I love my children more than life itself.

We celebrated Valentines day in Lauren class.
and 100 days of school in the same week.
lots of partying going on.
lauren and her bestie Halle
Mitch loves all the parties!
