This year we were lucky enough to have the Araves with us for the Spirit of Boise.
It was an early morning with 4 adults and 7 children, but it was super fun.
We got up early and headed downtown (with the rest of Boise) to see the balloons take off.
I didn't go last year because I was 10 weeks pregnant and super sick,
so I was excited to be able to go this year.
It really is a pretty cool experience.
Thanks to the Araves for humoring us and getting their kids up early to see the balloons!
it was early, but the kids were all smiles.
Maddie and her "peace" signs.
remembering doing that as a child?
oh, and bunny ears.
I remember doing this as a child!
me and my Lou
love this girl!
and this little boy.
we potty trained him this week, so I was completely paranoid about accidents, but he did awesome!
besties, born 10 days apart. even though we don't live close, when we get together, it's like these kids have never been apart!
and the balloons are starting to pop up!
he perked up when the balloons starting blowing up!
and I love this man too.
lexi was freezing cold and wondered why we were keeping her in the cold.
my awesome family of 6!
So much fun to be with this family!
Such a great time!
shortly after this picture was taken, all the kids were climbing on some rocks, and Mitchy fell.
Straight into a pointy rock.
yep, another war wound.
this time it was a puncture wound, so no stitches were needed.
thank. the. heavens!
